kiss the rain

The heat wave has overwhelmed me and I felt like looking at photos of rain today. The truth is that primarily, I wished that it would rain so that I can go around walking and getting soaked, but wishful thinking didn’t work this time. So I took a long look around the net for pictures of rain that I loved and here are some of them.

Moby (yes, the musician) has been taking photographs for as long as he's been making music. He premiered in National Geographic some of the images taken by him for his forthcoming photography book 'Destroyed' as part of their Music On Photography series. I really liked his photos taken during his tours, travelling and in l.a.

He is intrigued by humorous scenes and also presents  an interesting , maybe even romantic take of the space surrounding him whether it is concert halls or outdoors panoramas.

Kelly Collis, creator of the Ada and Darcy interior-loving blog (you can find it here), started her own online shop named Ada and Darcy. In the few weeks of its existence the shop shows great promise, presenting beautiful textiles, gorgeous prints and romantic pastel colours.
