nomoco fairytales

Nomoco is a Japanese illustrator who studied graphic design at Osaka University of Art. She continued her studies in the London College of Printing and received a master's degree at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, majoring in illustration. Currently she lives and creates in London.
Nomoco has exhibited her work in solo and group exhibitions in London, Milan, Tokyo, Singapore and New York. She produces dreamy, sensitive images that look effortless. 
She enjoys experimenting with various materials and craft-work in her works. For the past few years, she has been especially keen on playing with ink and its organic movement. Her inspirations are Nature and the French horn, but she frequently incorporates in her work images of women and the city. 
 She has done work for The New York times, the GAP, Moleskine. She also produces work under her full name Kazuko Nomoto.
