inspirational interior home pictures

Looking for some modern, slick and aerie interior design inspiration, I am looking all over, as well as the internet and my inspirational files, so I thought I would post about it. Ι adore every single one of these interiors.

earth moving anthropologie windows

Anthropologie, one of my favorite brands that I have talked about here, has just posted on its facebook page, its Earth Day windows and they are looking so beautiful that I couldn’t wait to post about them.
Its windows have been my favorites for a while and never cease to amaze me as they are bursting with creativity, inspiration and gorgeous hand work.

Charlotte York's Park Avenue apartment

I haven’t posted over set designing in some time now, so it was about time to look into one of the most elegant, classic yet modern, set designing of a series, in my humble opinion. Charlotte York’s apartment.
On the "Sex and the City" adored series, her apartment was located on New York’s Park Avenue and that’s where it really was in real life, too. Of course, that’s just the exterior, as the interior is unfortunately only a set. I have already mentioned the so talented set designer Cristina Tonkin here, and have found these pictures of the eclectic chic apartment in her site here.

botanical crush

I don’t usually post clothes of super famous designers, with super expensive prices but I have a huge crash on this trench coat from the botanical collection made by Stella McCartney.
I w-a-n-t  it! (moaning in a child’s voice), but at $2,045 the dream stays a dream.

vintage loving

I have a crazy love for all things vintage, from fashion to furniture. I am always looking for sites where I can find vintage fashion or vintage decoration, even to just look at it.
I wanted to share a site of a shop, with an interesting stock of vintage furniture, art and accessories. Bloomberry has a wide variety of vintage mid-century objects in their 1000m2 showroom, which is located at Diemen, near Amsterdam, but ships worldwide.

gossip girl's sets

This time around I decided to look into the set designing behind the series Gossip Girl. I was lucky enough to find out that the set designer, the very talented Cristina Tonkin has her own site with all of her work and that where I found these great pictures. The space I love more is the humphrey loft in Brooklyn, which is an open plan apartment with a very authentic real life sense to it.

discovering street photography

Vivian Maier was an American amateur street photographer who was born in 1927 in New York by a French mother and grew up in France. She returned in the U.S.A., in Chicago and worked as a nanny for 40 years. There and during this time period, she took almost 100.000 photographs, primarily of people and cityscapes most often in Chicago, although she traveled worldwide, taking pictures in each location. That her self portrait.

friends' appartment

Being a huge tv series fan, I decided to put all the time and energy I have spent watching them to good use and write about them.
I have seen lots of places, buildings and interiors from all the imaginary lives of all the imaginary people on the series and I will include, in this cycle of posts, the most interesting and inspiring ones of them. Of course I will start with my all times favorite series “friends” and its all times favorite space, Monica’s apartment.
That was the façade of their building. As it turns out it is much more difficult than I expected to find shots that show the interior space well, but I tried my very best.

me+anthropologie=love...

I suppose most of you know Anthropologie, one of my favorite companies, that has clothes, shoes, bags, accessories and yes, a home dedicated department too. It has it all.
These are some of their cool new arrivals I found in their home section online and you can visit their site here to check everything out. Knock yourselves out!!
